	<title>Debt Reduction Program</title>
	<description>
Finding A Reputable Debt Reduction Company
Finding the right debt reduction program can be very challenging at times. Whatever you do, try to make informed decisions in choosing the right debt reduction program for your finances. Be aware of companies that require you to do work that other services do for you. Also be skeptical of a debt reduction program that guarantee the vanishing of all negative information from your credit report. Often times, these programs usually require extensive fees for their service and frankly - the notion of wiping negative data from a credit report overnight is a myth.

Don't Give A Debt Reduction Company Any Money
Any debt reduction program that asks for money to perform a debt management service should be avoided. Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, companies cannot require you to pay until they have completed the promised services. So do not send a debt reduction program any money to be in their program. Also be aware of any debt reduction program that discourages you from contacting a credit bureau. Be careful if they do not thoroughly explain their services or tell you what you can do on your own.

Stay Away From Illegal Acts
Never allow a debt reduction program to create a new identity for you, it is ILLEGAL! They may try to hook you in under upon convincing you that you are too far in debt to ever climb out and consequentially, that creating a new credit identity is your only option. False. If you actually follow illegal advice and commit fraud, you may be subject to prosecution. Yes, you will be the one who is held accountable.

Anyone can fall victim to debt program scams. In hard times, we seem to be more desperate and vulnerable. Some of the services these companies offer are attractive but very dangerous to your future. Eliminating debt does not happen overnight. You have to really work at it over time.
