Debt Relief Solution

Suffering from the heavy load of debt that's on your shoulders? Search the Internet (or just read our site). Your debt relief solution is out there. You just have to find it.

Carol's Story

This is the story of Carol the Careful Consumer. Carol was very careful shopper. She always used coupons at the grocery store, and when it came to big-ticket items like t.v.s, cars, appliances, etc., she checked Consumer Reports for reviews. When she bought her car, it was used, so she took it to a mechanic first. Although Carol was careful about what she bought when it came to big-ticket items, she had a secret--she had no willpower when it came to shopping at the mall. She did, however, have one rule--if she was buying shoes or clothes or accessories, they had to be on sale. (This rule did not apply to cosmetics though.) Carol's weakness--mall shopping--is what led her down the road of debt destruction.

The Path to Debt Relief

One day when Carol was shopping at one of her favorite stores, she was terribly embarrassed when her credit card at that store was denied because it was maxed out. She used a different credit card, but she was beginning to get concerned. She vowed not to shop at that store again until she paid off that credit card. Meanwhile, she maxed out other cards too--including her MasterCard and Visa. Then, disaster struck--Carol's car broke down. She applied for the credit card offered by the repair shop (it was a national chain with their own credit card). She applied for the card and was turned down because she had too much outstanding credit that needed to be paid off. Scared and upset and embarrassed yet again, Carol borrowed the money from her parents to get her car fixed. (She secretly cursed Consumer Reports and the neighborhood mechanic who checked out her car when she bought it.)

Carol new she was in dire financial straits, so she swallowed her pride and asked her dad for help. He suggested a debt relief solution. Carol didn't know such a thing existed. She asked her dad what it was. "Come with me to the computer," he said. "We'll find you a debt relief solution online."

They searched the Internet using the term debt relief solution and found pages and pages of results. "I never knew so many debt relief solutions were out there. How will we ever find the right debt relief solution for me?" she asked.

"One of my employees was recently in this situation," her dad said. "He found a debt relief solution and was out of debt in five years. He sings the praises of debt consolidation whenever someone complains about being in debt. He wasn't sure how to choose a company either, so he chose a handful of companies, filled out their online forms, and within 24 hours, he had recommendations from those companies about which debt programs were right for his situation. Some charged higher fees than others, and some offered credit counseling services to accompany their debt programs. He ended up choosing a company with a debt relief solution that fit his situation perfectly, and it was affordable. He took advantage of the credit counseling component of the service too, and now he budgets and saves, and he only uses his credit cards in an emergency. He's become such a good saver that he put a down payment on a house recently. Carol, you're a smart girl. You can do this."

And she did. Now Carol is enrolled in a debt consolidation program and is learning how to control her spending. She can still go to the mall, but her shopping habits have changed. And since she makes one more affordable monthly payment to the debt consolidation company now instead of several monthly payments to her credit card companies, she has a little breathing room. Carol is experiencing debt relief at its best, and you can too.
